I was born in Saskatoon but grew up in Edmonton and Calgary. I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1980 with a degree in Education and recently completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. A teacher for nearly  twenty-five years, I live on a farm near Lampman. I have written twenty-six plays for young people and for adults.

I have two daughters attending university. My husband Randy works in the oil industry.
